2 days to go!

Excitement is rising as Oliver, Grandpa Glenn and our two youngest children, Evan and Gracie, get ready to meet their new little sister, Alice! Bags are being packed and re-packed - weight restrictions are strict in China. Sarah and the two older children, Emma and Tim, gear up for lambing back on the farm. All are ready for new life in the Loten family!

Spring has sprung in the parts of China that they will be traveling in. Beijing temperatures rise to about 12C during the day and Wuhan, Hubei can rise to 18C during the day. Nights are still cool but above zero.

Our little girl, Alice Qiu (her Chinese name is Shi Zi Qiu), is waiting in an orphanage in Shiyan which is in Northern Hubei province. She is 3 and a half years old. Big changes await her and we pray that the transition will not be too difficult for her. We can't wait to meet her and we hope that she will eventually feel the same way about us!

Travel with us as we make the wonderful trek towards our little Alice!

Nice! Let us know if we can help out at the farm for a day or two while everyone is in China!
